And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Kingdom Power

Kingdom Power 12/18/2013 P.M.

Mt 24:14 “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached ...” Jesus taught his disciples —

Mt 6:13b “For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

What is ours? for how long?

Jesus came to Earth to reveal God as our heavenly Father & The Kingdom, The Power & The Glory belong to Him. Everything we do should bring glory to Jesus!

The Kingdom is The Rule of heaven,

The Power is The Ability of heaven, &

The Glory is The Atmosphere of heaven.

Everything we do should bring The Kingdom, The Power, & The Glory of heaven!

God is calling us to exercise His Kingdom Rule: to demonstrate His Power & Manifest His *Presence on Earth — Here & Now!  *Glory = Atmosphere.

Mt 6:33 “seek first The Kingdom”

Mt 12:28 KJV “if I cast out devils...then The Kingdom of God is come unto you.”

Our model for demonstrating The Kingdom is Jesus. When He walked the Earth, He carried The Presence of God everywhere He went.

And as He went He announced that The Kingdom of Heaven is at (present tense) hand.

Ac 1:1 “The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do & teach. DO = Jesus did the works of The Kingdom. TEACH = Jesus taught about The Kingdom.

If we don’t teach people about the Kingdom, it won’t advance & if we don’t do the works of The Kingdom, it won’t be demonstrated with Power.

We have a generation of young people who are seeking an experience with something beyond themselves—something they have not found in religion, education, sports, music, business, technology, sex, fame, etc.

In actuality, they are looking for an experience with The Living God!

Many of them use illegal drugs, practice witchcraft, & engage in other harmful practices while seeking an experience with God!

Question: Can the Church offer these young people a personal encounter with God?

Answer: We can when we transition fro head knowledge to knowing God & His Power through The Holy Spirit.

Too many pastors leave the ministry because of being tired of dealing with problems & not seeing any evidence to justify continuing in the ministry.

They should believe & know that it’s the Holy Spirit that does the works [Jn 14:10]. He is our Paraclete, ‘comes along side to help’ as we step out in faith.

{en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraclete?

Paraclete (Gr. ??????????, Lat. paracletus) means advocate or helper. In Christianity, the term Holy Spirit most commonly refers to the paraclete. Downloaded 12/21/2013}

Knowing you can do nothing in yourself takes all the stress out of ministries.

The Holy Spirit is “your great teacher He will lead you into all truth & show you things to come.” [Jn 16:13]

For instance: He taught me to rebuke death & declare The Spirit of Life over the dead!

While it is important for us to teach people about The Kingdom, it is even more powerful to demonstrate.

If we fail to act on what we teach, then we are not being true to ourselves or to others.

Jesus Christ demonstrated The Kingdom by both teaching & acting with Power. And He gave us the ability to do the same through The Holy Spirit.

‘I BELIEVE’: True knowledge comes through experience. Knowledge doesn’t come just by studying the Bible.

If this were true, theologians would be among the most effective manifesting The Kingdom.

Many study the Bible from cover to cover but fail to have an accurate understanding of God. Because they reject the idea that His Power operates in our world today.

When you are limited by human reason—you will never know Him intimately.

God has not called us to be religious but rather his sons & daughters who are able to manifest His Presence & Power on Earth. We must present a Gospel with supernatural proofs, demonstrating that Jesus lives & His resurrection power is for today!

Most people are not interested in our great knowledge or the nice words we speak.

They are interested in the bottom line: Do our words lead to supernatural works? Does our knowledge lead to an experience with God?

Does our Revelation lead to manifestations of His Power? Does our theology bring healing to the sick? Deliverance to the oppressed? Prosperity to the poor? & Does our testimony transform lives?!

NUGGET: Many people do not want to hear a message — they want to see one.

When we receive a word that inspires us, challenges us, and encourages us to seek more of Him, we are not to remain where we are, but we are to experience the reality of that word which always leads us to Him.

The renewal of our minds is meant to transform our lives. People who accumulate knowledge without practicing it become merely religious.

NUGGET: Revelation Knowledge is divine enlightenment for demonstrating The Presence & Power of The Kingdom!

The Kingdom of God is The Kingdom of Heaven being manifest on Earth through a child of God who has received The Revelation of The Kingdom.

Mt 13:19 “When anyone hears the word of The Kingdom & does not understand it, then the wicked one comes & snatches away what was sown in hid heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.”

When we receive a revelation from God, it imparts The Power that enables us to obey it. But when we do not understand or accept a word from God it is like a seed that gets scattered on the side of the road.

Then the enemy comes & steals The Word away from us. The word understanding here is translated from the Greek & literally means “to put together” & indicates mental comprehension that leads to Godly living. In other words, a transformed life when we have understanding.

NUGGET: We must know God to demonstrate His works!

2 Cor 3:6 “God also made us sufficient as ministers of The New Covenant, not of the letter but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.”

When we don’t enter into an experience with God based on what we learn from His Word or from a Rhema we have received, then we have just the ‘letter’ of the word. Not the ‘spirit’, which gives life. We simply have knowledge of something that should be or might be.

However, when we have an experience with that knowledge, our perspective changes.

We are better able to explain God’s Word with better clarity & insight!

It’s almost as if we are within The Truth itself. Or a part of it. In contrast, people who are mired in religion do not undergo transformation because religion is void of experience.

Consequently The Power of The Kingdom does not manifest in their lives. Revelation Knowledge is the basis for manifesting The Supernatural.

Let me balance what I have said with this warning: we should not base our spiritual lives on manifestation alone, or we will likely fall into error.

THE END — YOU ARE DISMISSED.
